Over these next several months, we invite you to participate in a continuation of our weekly Wednesday Local Group studies. Most of the groups have not been meeting due to COVID-19, though some are meeting in person. If you wish to meet with others in person, please contact Dave Haas or Matthew Pierce. Those wishing to meet digitally can utilize the Zoom credentials below.
It is important that we, as a body of believers, are clear as to the Person of Jesus Christ – His eternal existence, His divinity, His humanity, His power, His Gospel – in short, everything He taught about Himself by saying, seven times over, “I Am…”
In this study, we will tackle approximately the first half of the Gospel of John. May the Holy Spirit minister to our hearts the truths of Scripture, such that we can then turn to those around us, point to Christ, and say, “Behold! The Lamb of God, Who takes away the sin of the world.”
Weekly Meeting Plan
Preparation:
Read and meditate on the designated Scripture and be prepared to discuss the questions below.

Read the designated Scripture together, and discuss these questions:
- Are there portions of the text that caught your attention? Which ones? Why?
- What do we learn from this text about the Person of Jesus Christ?
- How do the people around Jesus Christ respond to Him in this text?
- How does this text impact your own personal response to Jesus Christ?
